Barbra Paitich’s zest for art began in childhood. Her art adventure took her through many mediums to her passion in painting on silk.
Living in a rural countryside provides daily inspiration for her designs and she is known for the vibrant and lush colors used in her wearable silk wraps and scarves as well as in her silk and steel wall art.
She is active in the Auburn, California art community as a member of the North Auburn Art group, with its Mother’s Day Studio tour and other shows and events in the area. She has been a participant in “Placer Open Studio Tours” since its inception and is a former member of the Auburn Old Town Gallery and the Sacramento Old Town Gallery. She has shown her work in many businesses in the Auburn area and the Black Bear Gallery in Mt. Shasta, California. She currently shows her hand painted silk scarves, luminaries and eye pillows at the Persimmon Gallery in Auburn, California.
